Roger was my father's, Derek Green, Sargeant during national service in 1952 in Pirbright, Surrey.
He drove my father to the nursing home where I was born on Nov 13th 1952.
He was my Godfather and I can only remember visiting him and staying somewhere in Perranporth during the 1970s when he had an MGC Sports car.
I do remember speaking to Roger when my father passed away in 1998 just before I emigrated.
Very best wishes and condolences to his family and friends whom I never have met.

Our condolences. It was an honour to know Roger through the rotary club. His contribution to the club has been outstanding and longstanding. His friendship and conversation at club meetings will be greatly missed. Brian and Jane
