DorisTHOMPSONPassed away after a long illness at Heatherfield Care home on the 11th May 2024 aged 87 years. Doris was a Teacher at several schools in Killingworth and retired in 1991 as deputy head. She will be greatly missed by husband Roy, her daughter Claire, son Clive, and grandchildren Jack, James & Kate. Please meet for funeral service 3pm at Whitley Bay Crematorium on Tuesday 11th June 2024 Family flowers only and all welcome back to the Station Hotel following the service

Sad to hear the news of Mrs Thompson ( as I knew her ) she was my teacher at Newfields(Mooredge) Primary school lovely teacher,
they do say you always remember a good teacher plus my Mam knew her from the younger days before she was Married
