(Brother Peter)SWAMI KARUNANANDAWith deep love and gratitude, we announce the passing of Swami Karunananda (Brother Peter) who died peacefully on the morning of Tuesday 17th September. Guru Sri Subramanium ordained Swami 'Karuna' - meaning 'compassion or mercy' - in recognition of his extraordinary commitment, devotion and care for all life. Swami Karunananda's journey began with Guru in London before the establishment of Skanda Vale, and he faithfully served as a monk for nearly five decades. A dedicated servant, Swami always made time for others and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
