JaneSLATER29th January 2024, peacefully at Ysbyty Gwynedd, of Dolgellau, aged 85 years.

Dearly loved wife, Mum, Nain and a good friend to many.

A private family funeral service will be followed by a public service of thanksgiving and celebration at St Mary's Church, Dolgellau on Friday 23rd February 2024 at 2pm, and at Jane's request, those attending are asked to wear bright and cheerful clothes.

Donations gratefully received towards Wales Air Ambulance and The British Heart Foundation.

Rev. Andy & Loetta Brndjar - CANADA
In 1982 my wife and I did the Mary Jones walk and stayed at the midpoint with Neil and Jane Slater. The next morning off to Bala. In 2000 we had a trip to Ireland and Wales and once again stayed for a few days with the Slaters. Over these many years we have talked on the phone, sent Christmas greetings to each other and sent birthday greetings. Neil and I climbed up Mt. Cader Idris in 2000. We did not receive a Christmas greeting from Jane in 2023 and assumed that she had died. We send along our love and prayers for the family in their sorrow and loss. They were special friends.
