JohnMOOREOf Wigston Magna, passed away on Sunday, April 14, aged 78. John, father to Pip and Ant, and loving partner to Pauline and her sons Martin and Nick, will be deeply missed by all his family and friends.

John was a joiner and shop fitter who progressed from apprentice to a company director at Pinkney & Allman. He was a member of Scraptoft Golf Club for 50 years and coached junior runners at the OWLS Athletics Club.

The funeral of John will be held at South Leicester Crematorium, Countesthorpe, on Friday, May 17 at 1pm. Family flowers only, however donations will be gratefully received in John's memory to D, L & R Air Ambulance.

Drinks and refreshments will take place after the service at the Liberal Club, Kelmarsh Avenue, Wigston.

If it wasn't for John taking me under his wing as an apprentice at Pinkney and Allman I would never have had the future in the industry I had. Always said it as it was but took time to help you, always had the utmost respect for him ,thank you John for the laughs and education, rest in peace boss

John. Always been a good boss from when I started as an apprentice all those years ago. Had some great laughs and the odd telling off. Moved on to being a good friend who saw something in me to back me to start a business together. Thanks John. Will raise a glass for you 🍺🍺
