Walter RobertJONESOn the 31st October 2024 peacefully at Ysbyty Gwynedd of The Nook, Dolgarrog aged 87 years.

Beloved husband of Mary and brother of Myra and the late Iris, much loved father of Michelle, Mark and Sonia and a treasured grandfather to all his grandchildren and great grandson Austin.

Walter will be sadly missed by all the family and friends.

Funeral service takes place at Colwyn Bay Crematorium on Monday 18th November at 11.45am.

Family flowers only please but donations if so desired and made out to British Heart Foundation may be sent c/o A.C.Lambert & Sons, 69 Conwy Road, Llandudno Junction, Conwy, LL31 9LT. Tel 01492 581072

I had the pleasure of being a member of Conwy CBC with Walter. He was an excellent Council leader who guided the formation of the Conwy unitary authority, his leadership of the council knew no bounds. Our sincere condolences to Mary and all her family.

It was a pleasure to serve with Walter on the former Aberconwy Borough Council. A forthright campaigner who stood no nonsense as well as a loyal friend always ready to help others. Condolences to Mary and the family.
