JJ my old friend how many times did we talk together about that lifelong interest of yours- Native American history and culture. You were always a staunch supporter and spokesman for native American rights. How you enjoyed your U.S. trips to visit your adopted family and immerse yourself in the culture and celebrations. I hope, now free of pain and suffering, somewhere you will be dancing with the People.

John you will be missed dearly! You were my family, we adopted you. I will never forget you, your memories will live on through all your accomplishments. One was a book you wrote “Bits and Pieces” a couple quotes from you “You drink like a fish, do fish drink”, “In a split second the present becomes the past”. Many love and prayers on your journey. Loving you always, Linda

As a boy, John was a scout at Kenwyn church, became a Rover scout in Truro, ran the scout troop at Pencalenick School, Truro, was an assistant leader with the cub scout pack at St Paul's church, Truro, and a civilian instructor with the Air Training Corps in Truro - a life time of service to youth.
