Charles CammHADFIELDCharles Camm Hadfield - peacefully at rest on Thursday 23rd November 2023 at Macclesfield Hospital, surrounded by his loving and devoted family, after a long illness fought with great courage, dignity and bravery. Charles aged 72 years, was the former proprietor of the drysalter and apothecary Hadfields, in Macclesfield. The business prospered and was passed from father to son through 13 generations until Charles retired in 2003. A beloved husband of Susan, Father of Helen and Charlie, Father-in-Law of Andrew, and loved and cherished Bonpa of Teddy and Ottilie, Charles will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all his closest family and many friends. Funeral service is to be held at Macclesfield Crematorium on Wednesday 13th December at 14.45pm. Family flowers only with donations to The Christie, with thanks to Professor Nick Slevin for pioneering and lifesaving oncology treatment on Charles in 2009, which extended his life by 14 years.
