HowardGREENPassed away peacefully on 5th March in hospital. Aged 91, he had lived with Alzheimer's for many years and retained his humour and personality throughout. A devout Roman Catholic, he loved his job as an innovative journalist, spending time with family and friends and travelling. Beloved husband of June for 17 years, his first wife Audrey pre-deceased him by 20 years. He leaves June, son Damian and wife Alicia, daughter Helen (O'Brien) and husband Tim and grandchildren Mark, Beth, Felicity and Verity. The funeral service will be held at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Vicarage Road, Henley-on-Thames, RG9 1HT on Monday 19th March at 12 noon, followed by committal at Fairmile Cemetery, Henley. Family flowers only: Donations in lieu of flowers for the work of The Alzheimer's Society or The Royal British Legion may be sent to Tomalin & Son, Anderson House, 38 Reading Road, Henley-on-Thames, RG9 1AG or offered at a retiring collection at the church.
