Beloved husband of Di for 60 years, much-loved father of Tony and Mandy.

We sat by your bedside holding your hand, We knew we had to part. But when we saw that you had gone, It really broke our hearts.

You can't come back, we know that's true, But one day, my darling, I'll come back to you.

We'll never get over losing you, nor even want to try. You'll live in our hearts forever, Until the day we die.

Your devoted wife Di, children Tony and Mandy.

A celebration of Derek's life will take place at Weston Mill Crematorium Chapel on Thursday 23rd November at 2.45pm. Please wear bright colours. Floral tributes may be sent to the funeral director at the address below. Donations in lieu, if so desired, will benefit the work of Dementia UK and may be made online via funeral-notices.co.uk
