I’ve just found the news as I’ve been wondering where Jimmy was. I was his upstairs neighbour and we had a chat most days. He left me food to put out for the birds the day before he left for his much looked forward to holiday to Majorca and he sat in the garden the day before listening to his great music which I enjoyed too. He was a cheeky but very kind chap and I’ll miss getting my fridge magnets from his holidays. Very sad to know I won’t see him out in the garden again. Fiona

From the church family at Kilnside Road. We are saddened to hear of Jimmy's passing. He visited the church cafe every Wednesday and we loved to see him. We all had a fond appreciation of him. He was kind and considerate but as well as this he also had a bit of a mischievous nature. His presence will be deeply missed but we are so glad for the opportunity we had to get to know him.
