Donald ClaudeCRAWFORDESQ. Of Oakham Rd, Harborne, Birmingham. Born 16/2/1931. Died of COVID-19 on 24th May 2020 in his 90th year. His private family funeral took place on 11th June. A generous, loving and most accomplished gentleman who inspired and supported many through his lifelong devotion to the Christian faith. A born leader both in his work and church life, he headed many voluntary groups - from youth clubs to work apprentice expeditions etc - freely sharing his exuberant joy and zest for living. Leader of Quinton Free Church, organist, fine singer, keen gardener, craftsman, philanthropist - he will be sorely missed. A devoted family man, doting husband of Patricia (deceased), loving cherished father of Pamela, Paul and Rachel; proud, adored grandfather of Lewis and Amy. Beloved brother, uncle, and friend.
