The funeral took place at St. Asaph Cathedral with special thanks to the Rev'd Canons Rex Matthias, John Glover, Quentin Bellamy and Kate Johnson for providing such a heartfelt service and words of comfort.
Thanks to Mr. Paul Booth, Director of Music at the Cathedral for his musical contribution. Carol would further like to thank her former choristers at St. Thomas' Church, Rhyl for singing so beautifully at the Crematorium.
Grateful thanks to Hefin and Glesni of R.W. Roberts and Son, Funeral Directors for their thorough professional and dignified arrangements and especially for their kindness and patience.
Thank you for the generous donations received in memory of Ernest which amounted to £1300 which will be shared with chosen charities , Glan Clwyd Hospital League of Friends, Carer's Trust North Wales and the Blind Veteran's, Llandudno.
Special thanks are also extended to Glan Clwyd Hospital Resus Team for their exemplary care of Ernest and to the staff at Mochdre Carer's Trust, Daffodil Day Centre, Colwyn Bay, Bryn Derwen, St. Asaph and Richmond House, Rhyl.
Finally thanks to the Bod Erw, St. Asaph for the refreshments and hospitality provided following the funeral.
