Waltraud MariaOLDERSHAWWith great sadness the family of Waltraud Maria Laura Oldershaw announce that she passed away suddenly on Saturday 12th November at the age of 96. Preceded in death by her beloved husband Barry and more recently by her beloved daughter Gloria. She is survived by her children Rosemary and Norman. Those we love never fade away They stand beside us every moment of every day Hidden from our eyes But always near Forever in our hearts Forever in our minds Forever dear Thank you for being our mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunty. We gained from your long life. A life that witnessed astounding changes in an ever advancing world. Standing astride German and English cultures you experienced good and bad, yet you embodied the best of both. We are all richer learning from your love for life, thirst for adventure and tender heart. Resolute to the end, you deserve to rest in peace. Friends are invited to her funeral service at St. John's Anglican Church, Devonshire Drive, Mickleover at 2pm on Monday the 19th December 2022. Cremation will follow at 3pm at the Derby Crematorium.
