Dr. ChandraSAYALPassed away peacefully at Royal Derby Hospital on Sunday 12th March 2023, aged 96 years. Wife of the late Dr Bhim Sayal, mother of Anu, Kapil and Geeta, and loving grandmother to Amba, Esmee and Hema. Former director of public health in Derbyshire and author. Will be greatly missed by family and friends in the U.K. and India. Funeral to be held at Markeaton Crematorium on Tuesday 4th April at 2:30pm for close friends and family only please. Dr Chandra truly a wonderful beautiful lady from London moved to Derby with compassion and love of supporting others in all things that matter from home life, professional working life and helping all people of all ages. We worked together on Womens Advisory Boards. We loved your guidance advice on our family visits to your home. I and my family will miss you greatly. With prayers and strength for your family and friends at this time of great loss and sadness.
