David AnthonyBARRETTPassed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Saturday 7th January 2023 at the RSUH, aged 59 years. After a long illness, bravely borne with great courage and dignity. Dearly loved Son of the late George and Audrey Barrett. Much loved Brother of Sandra and Brother-in-law of Paul. Treasured Uncle of Nicola & Matthew and Samantha & Matthew. Also, a beloved Great Uncle. David will be very sadly missed but so fondly remembered by all his family and many friends. A funeral service is to take place. at Temple Street Methodist Church on Wednesday 8th February 2023 at 10:30am, followed by interment at Fenton Cemetery. Floral tributes are most welcome or donations if so desired to Temple Street Methodist Church in memory of David. Sadly its 12 months today since we lost my brother who was so beautiful and so caring in every possible way. What a legacy of kindness and thoughtfulness you've left us all. You are missed every single day. RIP and thank you for all you did for me. God bless you 🙏 always xxx

I'm very sad to hear of David's passing. I have fond memories of working professionally with Dave and his family. Sadly I'm unable to attend the funeral but my thoughts are with Sandra and family.
