In Memoriam for John William (Biddy) BRIDSON

Half of life is lost in charming others. The other half is lost in going through anxiety caused by others. Leave this play, you have played enough! Just shine like the brightest star that you are!

Sometimes I feel as though I lost myself in you…as though I gave away pieces of myself that I couldn’t afford to lose…But with that said, I still don’t regret a single moment spent with you because despite the fact that it ended, meeting you still that pivotal moment in my life where everything changed forever.
I may have loved and I may have lost- but for the first time in my life I can say that I truly lived.
So if anyone should ever ask me if I have felt that all-encompassing love they write about in poetry… that love that makes the universe stop spinning and redefines everything you’d ever felt for another human being up until that point… I will smile and tell them… “yes, I did once with you and I still have the scars to prove it.”

Behind every sweet smile is a bitter sadness that no one can ever see or feel. When the moon is bright I know your watching over me.

Some times I am afraid to be happy because every time I'm happy something goes wrong and hurts me I still can't take it your gone

We are like the spider.
We weave our life
And then move along in it.
We are like the dreamer
Who dreams and then lives
In the dream.
This is true for the entire universe.

Daddy’s flown across the ocean
Leaving just a memory
A snapshot in the family album
Daddy, what else did you leave for me?

Pink Floyd is my serenity
Music that so calms my soul
All affliction floats away
As I begin on a peaceful stroll.
No music has ever moved me
In the way Floyd surrounds
Coming back to life…learning to fly
My feet don’t touch the ground.
None will ever move my very soul
Or bring my mind to such great heights
Masterful, metaphoric and poetic
Floyd will always fill my nights and days.

The most wonderful places to be in the world are: in someone’s thoughts, someone’s heart and someone’s arms.

To be nobody but yourself in a world that’s doing it’s best to make you somebody else is to fight the hardest battle you are ever going to fight. Never stop fighting.

Remember when you used to sing this: if I could save time in a bottle the first thing that I would like to do is to save everyday til eternity passes away just to spend them with you- time in a bottle
