Peter passed away peacefully in hospital on May 5th aged 69 years. A beloved husband of Sheila, a dear brother of the late Eva, a very dear brother in law to Ken, Margaret and Steve, an adored uncle of Graham, Elaine and Kirsty, a much loved great uncle to Callum, Megan and Maddi and a dearest great great uncle to Mahlia and Novi Beau.
Peter was a great friend to many and will be sadly missed by his loving family and friends.
Would family and friends please meet for funeral service at Saltwell Crematorium on Thursday May 23rd at 1.00pm.
As Peter was a loyal and fanatical Newcastle United fan, black and white colours and especially Newcastle shirts are most welcome at the service in his memory.
Family flowers only please, a retiring collection will be held for Cancer Research.
All are welcome to The Gold Medal pub after the service to celebrate his life.

To Sheila, what a difficult year this has been. I remember first meeting Peter when you two were going out and I'd brought Jane up to meet the family. Being from Surrey she really struggled with the Geordie accent and couldn't understand a word that Peter said.
Eventually Peter said, "I'll hay to get mesel a parrot!"
Jane said, "What did he say?" and Peter just shrugged.
On that visit Peter took me to see Newcastle play. It was my first visit to a professional football match. Bless him.
